About This Spot

Stepping into Mi Mexico Lindo feels like entering a warm corner of Tyler where genuine care for food and community comes naturally. The rhythm here isn’t hurried—it’s the kind of place where mornings and evenings both invite lingering conversations over plates just brimming with earnest flavors. It’s a neighborhood treasure tucked into Front Street, with a welcoming spirit that encourages you to slow down and savor more than just a meal.

The atmosphere hums with that unmistakable comfort of a family-owned spot where the kitchen’s heart beats strong and steady. The service is quietly attentive, embodying a sincere desire to share something deeply familiar yet vibrant—foods that feel like they know your name and the stories you carry.

What unfolds on the table reflects more than recipes; it’s a mosaic of Mexican culinary soul woven through each dish, from the casual delight of street tacos to hearty, earnest breakfasts. Whether you arrive early for a thoughtful start with eggs cooked just right or drop in later to enjoy rich, smoky fajitas, each bite tells a story of tradition, patience, and joyful craft. The sides—well-seasoned beans, fresh guacamole, warm white cheese dips—create a grounding backdrop that invites you to savor slowly, bite after bite.

This is a place where locals linger and newcomers feel like guests invited to share in a genuine experience. The sounds, the warmth, the ease—all combine to create a space where food is just the beginning of a conversation, a moment to feel good about being exactly where you are.

Great food for what I was looking for the burrito was the size of a baby leg. It was hot and fresh not like those doughnut store burritos. Good people good service don't sleep on this place because of the outside looks.

Hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants in Tyler and I’ve been to a lot and normally they’re all the same and I am really picky but … I promise you there is nothing nothing that they make that will disappoint your taste buds !!and not only is there food amazing but there attitudes are always positive and you can tell that they enjoy making there customers happy and enjoy being there with a smile to greet you every time .. and I have eaten at pretty much every Mexican restaurant In Tyler and or the surrounding areas and I have to say this one is my favorite. Literally I go there every week sometimes twice a week lol not exaggerating lol it’s amazing. You should go in and try it. They have the best queso and salsa I’ve ever had and that’s a big thing for me ! I go to Chuy‘s or some other nice restaurant and I pay over $100 for pretty much two people I go to this place and pay half of what I pay at the other places and to me this place is 100% better It’s Next-door to Wendy’s Close to downtown it’s a small little building but the atmosphere is amazing. The food is wow and it’s not expensive. I mean you can’t beat that. You can call it in and pick it up in the drive-through or you can go inside and eat, it may not look like much on the outside just a little mom and Pop restaurant but their food. Their customer service is better than any restaurant around Tyler by far you have to try it seriously I promise you will have the same reaction I have had each time I have had the pleasure of eating there or picking up my food in drive-through and coming home with it, It’s You should try it seriously and tell me what you think. I mean, who wouldn’t want to get something that taste way better than these expensive Mexican restaurants that are Pat most of the time and they overcharge like so bad when you can go to this nice mom and Pop shop with great attitudes from the employees the food is amazing and it’s half the cost I mean seriously not even half the cost. It’s so worth your time and money. Just try it. Let me know what you think.

Holy smokes! After a long day, this hit the spot. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food in Tyler, this is the spot. My shrimp cocktail ceviche tostada was fantastic. My husband had shrimp tacos and really enjoyed them. Said probably the best he has ever had. Thank you!

Food is absolutely amazing. We tried a few different plates and all of them were delicious. The charro beans were so flavorful, as well as the rice. The chili relleno was perfectly spicy and the chicken chimichanga was my favorite. Everyone is so nice as well. Definitely worth a stop

One of my favorite spots since moving here from Dallas a few years ago. Reminds me of home. Great breakfast tacos too! A little slow but well worth the wait. Everything comes out fresh.

Good ole fashioned Tex Mex with some authentic as well . The best part is the price ! I had enchilada combo with taco and chips , hot sauce and queso . 10.00 ! Tipped 5 for a total of 15.00! Try and beat that anywhere! Good stuff
